In 1985, tran service between Bengtsfors-Årjäng were discounted, meaning
that now you can pedal your own inspection trolley the entire 52
kilometeres Bengtsfors and Årjäng.
The sensation of pedalling off into the wilderness on an inspection trolley
is something really special, for long stretches of track you´re miles away
from crowds and busy roads- indeed, your only companions along the way will
be the wild dwellers of the countryside such as elk, deer, hares and all
the myriad birds of the forest. Lakes and mysterious woodland pools abound.
Several campsites have already been established and occasionally you´ll
even find yourself trundling through tiny village, such as Gustavsfors and
Blomskog, where there is a country shop right by the track. It´s the ideal
place for trolleyriders to replenish their stores.
So taken a trolley through the wilderness - it´ll be an
unforgettable experience for young and old alike
